FAQs

Is everything that you make really natural?

Yes! We use the finest natural ingredients we can find, and where possible organic and ethically sourced. All of our ingredients including preservatives are plant derived or in their pure, raw form straight from nature.

Are your products Vegan?

Our line is 100% Vegan with no animal testing whatsoever. We also do not purchase from suppliers who are unable to prove that they are also cruelty- free.

I have a nut allergy. Are your products suitable?

We use some nut oils, so please check on the ingredient section of each product for further details before purchasing.

Please be advised that our products are prepared in an environment where nut ingredients are used.

Where do you source your materials from?

Most of our ingredients are sourced from within the UK and Europe. We do however, research to make sure our ethics align with those we source from.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?

There are some essential oils you may wish to avoid during pregnancy, such as Rosemary, Lemongrass, Basil, Cinnamon, Clary Sage, Thyme, Vetiver, White Fir and Peppermint, Cedarwood, Clove, Coriander, Fennel, Juniper, Nutmeg and Pine. The overall advice is to avoid using aromatherapy during the first trimester but use with caution thereafter.

Are there any safety precautions I should observe?

All of our products are natural and plant-based however, this does not mean they are free from allergens. Essential oils are made up of several components, that in certain quantities can contain allergens and skin sensitisers. Our skin care product line contains essential oils, usually only between 1 and 3% to ensure they are unlikely to cause a reaction and in compliance with EU regulations. Our candles and mists contain around 10% essential oils If you know of certain allergens you are allergic to, please check the ingredient list before purchasing the product. If you are prone to sensitive skin, it is advised to do a patch test before use. Also, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to use on children, we advise consulting with a qualified aromatherapist or doctor first.

All products have had a full Cosmetic Product Safety Report(CSPR) carried out, in compliance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.

How should I store my products? And what is the shelf life of your products?

To maintain your product, keep out of direct sunlight, at a room temperature or below, and away from moisture.

Products have a shelf life of six to 12 months after opening, and a shelf life of around 2 years after production.

We use an EcoCert approved, 100% natural preservative, aswell as a plant-derived preservative to preserve our water based products. For all other products, we add Vitamin E instead of a preservative. It’s antioxidant properties help extend the shelf life.

In the rare case that you purchase one of our products and find that it is not at its freshest point, please email us so we can handle this on a case-by-case basis

What packaging do you use and why?

We use eco-friendly packaging and recyclable glass and PET plastic.

We use amber glass in the majority of our range to filter out UV light, to prolong the potency of the product.

When can I expect my order?

Our aim is to dispatch your item/s within two working days of receiving your order though this may vary.
